“…the intellectual incapacity of the typical South Carolina voter”. And the number of elected Republican officeholders continues to increase every day. Kind of repeals the theory of evolution doesn’t it?

If Charles Darwin were to rise from the dead, visit Columbia, SC, stroll through Five Points at three in the morning and conclude his visit at the State House his first words would be:

Son of bitch, I was wrong

Oh, he’d be shot/beaten/robbed by a gang of thugs long before he got to the State House.

…the eligible voters will make the choice regardless of what the media is saying on the content of this conservative’s record.

This could, sadly, be true. There’s enough morons out there that would vote for Graham regardless of how much of his crap is aired out.

*** meanwhile on another episode of John Stewart’s Toilet….. ***

Toilet: “hey John, are you going to have Lindsey Graham or Tim Scott or Nancy Mace on your show in the near future…”

John: (stunned look) ……”who said that…”

Toilet: “John, you dummy its me, your trusted loo…”

John: “…why do you care about these political “forces”…” (fart)

Toilet: “Well, from everything I’ve heard so far concerning the elections in question; they need to be on your show because you and I both know I can handle the “crap”…”

John: ” we will have to have another conversation after I get through; be quiet so I can concentrate…..I’m constipated..”

Toilet: “oh, boy…”

Thanks for your reflections on my writings and publishing it on your site. It would definitely be a disservice to my intellectual development not to respond to your sharp comments. First and foremost Senator Graham is for free-markets and limited government just as every other conservative in South Carolina is. Just look at his conservative ratings during this time in office. He has never planned or considered on raising taxes. He has never based a vote on merely a special interest group but the entirety of the electorate’s majority. Yet, there definitely do need to be some tweaks to his quality of work just as all of us need from time to time. Therefore, fitsnews musings are very needed to make Mr. Graham an even better public servant for our state. I feel enchanted because I know that the late Senator Strom Thurmond is grinning down on what Graham has already did and has planned for S.C.

Didn’t consider raising taxes?

Remember the climate change bill he sponsored with Kerry and Leiberman?

Remember his support for closing tax loopholes?

Aside from taxes, his immigration policy is laughable.

Thanks for your inquiries Mr. Venomachine. Your correct he did not consider raising taxes and the climate change bill was not totally his idea. Also, he was sponsoring it in hopes of getting an amendment to remove the potential tax raises from it. As for his immigration bill he is only improving on the status quo for what his predecessors did in 1988.

I may be thinking of another proposal, but I’m pretty sure his bill included a carbon TAX. I could be wring. There was a lot of you-know-what being tossed around then.

Yeah, and if he does like his predecessors, he won’t enforce the laws on the books, which is why we find ourselves in the situation we are now, wrt immigration.

Never mind the lack of critical thinking skills, Tinkerbell needs a couple of lessons in English grammar.

Graham and Clyburn were the only ones who put the good of the country before Tea Party politics. Every other representative in the South Carolina voted for the default of the United States of America. They were so afraid that if they didn’t vote for the default of our country they would be primaried out in the next election. It is easy to see who their masters are.

Cruz Plans to Read Affordable Care Act

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) — Now that the government shutdown is over, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) plans to read the Affordable Care Act, he told reporters today.

“It’s definitely been on my must-read list for a while now,” Sen. Cruz said of the law often referred to as Obamacare. “Things have just been so hectic around here lately, I couldn’t get to it.”

The Texas Senator said that he started reading the law this morning and observed, “So far, it’s pretty dry.”

“It’s not a page-turner, that’s for sure,” he said. “But it’s caused so much controversy, it must have some pretty juicy stuff in it. I’ll keep reading it and see what I find.”

Sen. Cruz said that when he finishes reading the Affordable Care Act, he plans to read the United States Constitution.

“People kept bringing it up the last few weeks,” he said. “So I’m kind of curious to see what all the fuss is about.”
