I can’t confirm, But I am hearing that tours of most government buildings/palaces in Egypt are still ongoing. Perhaps we should eliminate their funding to keep our own tours in place.

Congress could have acted. Senate Republicans are trying to stonewall until the clock runs out, and they’d just as soon destroy the Federal government as deal with Obama. Blame Obama all you want. It just makes you look stupid.

This is actually good news. How can you know what you value when the government has led you to believe you can have everything? (only short term of course) When appropriately restrained by reality, the people can decide if they’d rather have their national herritage on lock down in exchange for a few bombs, some more folks on disability, a little more from their own pockets, etc.
