Washington, DC—South Carolina Congressman Jeff Duncan issued the following statement regarding the appointment of his colleague Tim Scott to the United States Senate:

“I’m proud of my friend Tim Scott for being appointed to represent South Carolina in the United States Senate. Anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing Tim, knows him as a man of character and faith who deeply loves his state and country. While Tim’s leadership will be deeply missed in the House, his bold vision for America and his willingness to fight is desperately needed in the Senate.”

“This is a proud moment for both Tim and for South Carolina, and his arrival in the Senate couldn’t have happened at a more pivotal time. With Tim’s appointment, South Carolina’s Federal Delegation will continue to be the most collaborative and team-oriented delegation in the country. I’m looking forward to working with him to champion the cause of defending the constitution, and advocating for limited government, free-markets, and individual liberties.”

Let’s see. jeff duncan super hero of Clemson’s football program. “I played football at Clemson under Danny Ford.”, but forgot to mention that he never “dressed for a game, and his remarkable achievements were playing on the scout team for a season!!!
Stated “I,m looking forward to working with him (Scott) to champion the cause of defending the constitution, and advocating for limited government, free-markets, and individual liberties.”
Hey jeffy, how about representing the people who voted to send you to Washington? The little guy that needs jobs, healthcare and tax relief. Forget this neo-conservative crap that the average Joe and Jane don’t want or understand.
