Same thing happens at the SC Senate. They are just excellent at covering it up. With salaries not being public knowledge you can give big money and promotions to your paramour and get away with it.
Countless numbers of people in government love sex. Sex is normal.
Over the decades, public employees have been caught doing it at their places of employment. But placing hidden audio and/or recording devices is something that lawmakers have declared cannot often times be legally done by peasants.
Body cameras worn by police are visible. The larger police departments will do this. Some make miniscule traffic stops just so can record video of you. Video recording anyone with a phone is common. SCOTUS ruled that it basically is legal in public places But some have issues with it and with malicious intentions summons the police to simple harass another.
But what this guy did with respect to secret recordings at his job appears to be a felony.
Good grief! If you are going to do it, don’t do it at work! Take your pelvic floor devices to your home. And for heaven’s sake, don’t be giving your paramour promotions and big raises. He had a paid hooker on staff.
