Seems quite petty to blast this 25 year old story everywhere

In this internet age, a person’s sins, errors and crimes can essentially be preserved for all time and accessible in mere seconds. How many of us are secretly so relieved that our youngest and most reckless years occurred before cell phones could photograph it and post it for the entire world to see? I have no idea who Everette is, and I’m not really interested in his wife as governor, but I don’t think if the man has lived the remainder of the last 25 years of his life having never done anything like this again, I’m going to say that he learned a lesson and should not be drug through the mud for this. I seem to recall the Democrats tried a stunt like this when they pulled their “October Surprise” against George W. Bush in the 2000 election, posting some record of his having a DUI that did not involve a penny of property damage and didn’t harm a hair on a single person’s head. Fortunately the American people saw it for what it was.

We should forget this man’s crime since it was 25 years ago but if a person crossed the border without documentation 25 years ago we should still punish them? Hypocrisy
