Trump kills another business. Yet the Crony Capitalist in Chief is using his office to make all kinds of deals enriching his own bottom line. Where’s the outrage over this, Willis?
The EV market has been cracking apart for a couple of years now. Ford lost their asses on electric horse and buggies as have many others who have now decided to, if not leave the market, at least slow production of these government mandated tech boondoggles. Then we have the Trump tariffs and you have a perfect storm to cause chaos in the electric vehicle production chain.
Personally I’m pleased to see the market put the squeal to this pig but at the same time I’m angry as hell at the crony politicians who gave away the treasure in order to bribe this crap to the state with
the monies stolen from the people of the state.
I am also looking forward to the Scout plant going belly up and leaving the people high and dry after $1.5 billion and counting.
When government is involved you can bet it’s screwed up and costs far more than it should.
Even without the CURRENT “policy and market uncertainty”, demand for electric vehicles is not anywhere near where it should be for SC to invest so much money. Switching from gas to electric overnight is a setup for failure; manufacturers should be producing hybrids so consumers can dip their toes into the new technology. I really hope electric vehicles fizzle out altogether.

Huh, I wonder why there’s “policy and market uncertainty” at this point in time? Any ideas, Will?
