Rittenhouse was carrying a Smith and Wesson MP-15, an AR copy, not an AK. I would have figured a jarhead would know the difference.
The pictures of Karmelo Anthony with the “AK” are actually pictures of him holding an AK look alike pellet gun, cropped out of the “rifle pics” are three white kids who were friends of Karmelo, all of whom are flipping off the camera.
Don’t misunderstand, Anthony is guilty of manslaughter but let’s try to keep the facts as facts.
Yeah, why was this young athlete, with good grades and two caring parents in the home, carrying a knife? If he’d used his fists, two kids would’ve been a little bloodied, probably both would’ve been suspended for a week from school and maybe benched from a couple of track meets. The murderous rage and the perceived threat just does not compute.
In Texas it’s not illegal to carry a knife with a blade under 5.5 inches
It’s not uncommon at all for high schoolers to carry pocketknives
Why does Anthony have to allow himself to be assaulted?
