Well gee, it is kind of hard to tell much with that stupid black square over the chair and occupant. It doesn’t appear that he was pushed. Was the chair checked for radio controlled devices and additional servo modules? Does anyone know where the chair is, now?
While possible, I would say having tampered with the chair in a way that the victim would not have noticed long before going to the water’s edge, is very unlikely. The guy had plenty of reasons to consider suicide. “Occam’s razor” often has merit.
How sad that FitsNews primary function anymore, seems to be as a repository for weird random thoughts and conspiracy theories of people who had family members die and also had other friends or family that the first set of survivors happen to dislike. Pandering to these neurotic conspiracy theories does not a great news site, make.
Who drove him in them? I’ve seen the tape without the black box (not sure what that box accomplishes). It’s clear he drives close to the edge (3-5 feet) considers his actions and then powers ahead into the water. There is no one else observed in the video. Trac Fab offers an “attendant control” but it is hardwired, meaning the operator would have to be standing by the chair.
FITS, there is this pesky thing called EVIDENCE that you seem to need to refamiliarize yourself with before writing these kinds of articles that all but state that this poor man’s death was some form of homicide, i.e., he unlawful killing of a person by another person. Maybe is wife really wanted it to happen. Mabe her alleged paramour did too. But if we convicted people on motive only, not actions in congruance with achieving said motive, then we would have to more than triple the size of our prisons. You can do better than this.
He was not a decorated Army Veteran. Claiming that is stolen Valor. Do your research.
