It wouldn’t surprise me if SC Attorney General Alan Wilson indicted Hillary Clinton on whatever charges. Trump can’t persecute Dr. Fauci because Biden granted him and other political enemies and “enemies within” since Biden granted pardons. Wilson with other Trumpian Attorneys General have banded together and wesponized their state governments to investigate and persecute retired Dr. Fauci since presidential pardons don’t offer immunity from state indictments.
Merriam-Webster offers this guidance on when to use prosecute and persecute:
One you do in court. The other, you do if you’re a jerk.
On the Fauci “perjury exception to pardon” tactic, I think that is coming. It’s just the process of getting the documents squirrelled away across the deep state takes a few months at a minimum, and Fauci is not the only liar that needs to be brought forth on the covid origins and vaccine propaganda. And there are well enough people who had to watch their loved ones die behind a glass window or not even see them at all, or who had their businesses or careers destroyed who have not forgotten that pain and outrage.
We have become a uniparty….there are no true Republicans anymore that promote conservative views or even the views of the majority of the people. Until the Deep State is unseated, “Republicans” will never get anywhere.

We went through this same scenario 8 years ago… the Dims stall, obstruct, and run the clock out for DJT’s 1st 2 years– when he “has” majorities in the House and Senate. And RINOs happily stand aside and do NOTHING until the clock runs out!
The mid-terms quickly arrive, and, ‘Oh, sorry, we can’t do anything because we don’t have a majority now’.

First of all, read the Constitution. The power to levy tariffs is vested in Congress, not the President. The founders never intended for Presidents to have he power to levy tariffs. Congress, by statute, gave that power to the President to use in an emergency. They never should have done that, and they should take that power back. This is not an emergency; Trump is abusing his power, and Congress should stop it.
Second if you can’t stand up to the leader of your party when he is screwing the country and ignoring the Constituion, you are a coward and have no place in leadership. When Trump came into office, we had a record high stock market, unemployment was at 40 year lows, GDP was growing faster than it had in years, the annual deficit was lower than when Trump was in office, the Dollar was soaring against world currencies, we were the unquestioned leader of the most powerful military alliance in the history of the world, we were building alliances in the Pacific to challenge China, and our two largest adversaries, Russia and China, were on life support. Our economy was the envy of the world, and we were the most respected nation on earth. We were at the pinnacle of our power. A few months later, and all of that is gone. Not some of it, all of it. If you can’t admit Trump is the biggest screw up of a President in history you are in a cult. Because the rest of us now know how he keeps bankrupting companies.

Why do I pay to listen to the screeds of this “freelance writer”? Thank you Margaret for so eloquently expressing what an ignorant individual like myself is having trouble with simple things like trying to understand how the individual who “had to spend four years governing the free world while fighting back against the most vicious non-violent coup in American history” could be the world’s leading expert on tariffs when he could not even manage to successfully run his own casino. Much less his inherited family business.
