I missed your story about DC prosecutors dropping the charge against the guy who got arrested for shaking Mace’s hand. Why didn’t you cover that? Was it because it was evidence of her BS?
She refers to it as her “floor speech” as a means of cover against the defamation lawsuit she faces. That should not work out for her. No matter the ruling on protection afforded by the speech and debate clause, Eric Bland is correct that Mace should be held liable for prepared remarks she gave to the press and for her defamation occurring outside of the floor and on social media. Don’t get me wrong – I like to look at her, I just don’t like to listen to her.
Mace has totally gone off the deep end. More proof that women should not be placed in positions of power and authority over men. Isn’t there something in The Bible about that? Like most things in The Bible, there are solid reasons for it.
