Sounds great until they start laying off people, then having to rehire them, publish bogus numbers that may or may not be revised or just disappeared, and start cutting things that people rely on just like the real DOGE.
SC DOGEmaster can become one of the most hated people around, just like “Leon” Musk!
The other option could be to elect people who actually govern instead of clutch their pearls about abortion and whatever else they think matters. But you and your pay to play site didn’t get paid to write that, I suppose?

Anything with the word “Education” in it needs to have its funding reduced and be forced to operate within its budget and not get to raise our taxes automatically whenever it feels like it. This needs to include the county level, also. Most of my exorbitant county taxes are education related. Education has become an absolute racket, anymore.
IF govt actually worked FOR the citizens none of these groups, including the SCFC, would exist or be necessary.
Government and efficiency should never be used in the same sentence. Government has never been nor will ever be efficient.
Government = where bad ideas get forced on us all. Good ideas do not need force to be applied.
