The fact that the LE cult known as the Thick Blue Line does everything possible to coverup, squash or otherwise protect and shield these scumbags is self-evident the whole system is corrupt. The idea that it’s just one bad apple here and there is completely and utterly false. For every good apple there is a bushel of rotten low IQ scumbags playing around in their batman suits.

As is often the case, termination from his current job would seem to be the appropriate punishment for such screwing around, not criminal charges. Some years back, I recall a black SC Legislator bringing up the need to repeal two laws because of their abject ambiguity. One was the Disturbing Schools law and the other was Misconduct In Office. He was right on both counts but unfortunately, his idea never got off of the ground. As I understand it, Misconduct In Office was originally created to deal with politicians taking bribes and such, but has almost never or never been used for that purpose. It has commonly been used as a catch-all to get LEO’s for various and sundry things that may not have even been a real crime. I bet a cop could fart loudly in a crowded elevator and be prosecuted for Misconduct In Office as the law is currently written.

In my home county, in the early or mid 1960’s, I was told of a meeting the Sheriff at the time had with his deputies. Supposedly, he said, ” I have received several complaints about my deputies allegedly f-cking on duty. Well, you are damn men so I figure if you are normal, you are going to have women offer it to you from time to time and yes, you will be f-cking. Keep up the good work, boys!”

My, how times have changed.

Most surprising part of this story is that he’s not a Spartanburg County cop. But the fact he’s a Greenville cop is not surprising at all.
