This case is a complete mess! I don’t understand how Mello isn’t the main suspect since he has violent tendencies according to the ex and her family as well as his custody fights with the deceased. He seems a lot scarier than Hughes
From the last time I looked at this case, it seems like Hughes is the one that committed the murder (the hit man), but Mello is the one who hired or got Hughes to do it. Mello and Hughes were in contact with each other and there are messages between them.
