Why do people always request a cops badge number like it’s a required piece of information they must have?

These people think they do not have to obey law enforcement. If they will cooperate and not make a scene then things can go on peacefully. Johnson wanted to play the race card obviously by insinuating the police were doing something wrong. If he had to put the wanted person on the ground it was apparently because she wasn’t doing as asked. I am sick of these people who seem to think they are accountable to no one!

There’s more to the story. The woman being arrested had just assaulted a tow truck driver who was called to tow the vehicle due to the previous male driver being arrested.

Why do you all have to say “these people “ you people don’t understand how it feels to be in a situation with police officers that can be something as simple as a traffic stop that can end your life recording and asking questions helps some of us feel safe or feel like if we have that information, if something happens to us, that information will be provided to hold that person accountable . She wasn’t responsible for what the previous young lady did, all she was doing was asking questions.

Here, the cops are the ones who feel they can physically & verbally abuse a young lady just because she is showing VERBAL concern for someone they are arresting. Why is abuse ok when it’s a cop involved. Why can’t cops respect that a citizen has the right to ask for their badge #. All of a sudden we hear 5 times “stop resisting”…as if people are stupid…like we haven’t gotten hip to the fact that cops have their catch phrases they yell out when they are attempting to make their bullying and aggression seem justified. We record these arrests because we don’t trust the police dept to be honest with the footage they see on their cams. Cops need to be retrained on how to deal with the public. These are types of cops who will be above the law if laws are passed that automatically protect them when they kill citizens. Not fair at all!
