Ignoring a problem leads to it growing. Covering up someone’s problem makes you a problem. The coverup then begins to consist of lies by everyone involved. Soon everything is a lie and there is no truth.
The “thin blue line” gang is notorious about lying to cover each other. Its part of their unspoken code. They justify it by the idea they are doing good for society. In reality they are breeding a system of corruption and a world of deceit.
It sounds like this guy is getting exactly what he deserves in life, but this kind of reporting is disgusting. His poor kids have been through enough without FITS airing their misfortune.
