Ha!!! Nanker you obviously don’t know anyone from rural Minnesota. Rural Minnesota is all Republican. The only Democratic counties are around Minneapolis and the union held Iron Range in the northeast. The rest of the state is solid red.
Farmers hate him… because according to Waltz rural MN is nothing but rocks and cows.
Walz seems to be a great person with great communication skills.
The hyperbolic attacks on him from Republicans are coming off as weird and desperate.
His speech at the rally in Philly yesterday very impressive.
When his National Guard unit was notified they would be activated to Iraq, he quit, was demoted a rank because he didn’t fulfill the commitment he signed and went home leaving the unit without a senior enlisted leader. He said he “retired” because he wasn’t able to run for Congress while serving in the military. But he didn’t tell people about the waiver he could have received for doing so. Minnesota’s $20 billion surplus was burned through under his leadership.
I’ve been through Minnesota recently and seen the “Fuck Waltz” yard signs. Outside of Minneapolis/New Somalia and Duluth people hate the man.
This Waltz guy sounds bad!
Imagine if multiple juries had found him guilty of sexual assault, massive financial fraud and breaking campaign finance laws? Or if he had been impeached twice or if he constantly sucked up to dictators and our enemies?
Instead this Waltz guy did some stuff that wasn’t illegal and hurt no one but it’s really bad.
