Who Are "The Animals" Exactly, Ron? July 17, 2024 at 8:38 am
Crooks really, really comes across as an alt-right loon. Who knows, maybe he saw what he was doing as both pushing like minded wingnuts to further acts of political violence – starting the “civil war” so many on the right crave – as well as turning his hero cult leader into a martyr.
The one I wouldn’t trust to report on what really went wrong that day is wRong Paul though. Dude wants to talk about not being able to trust the media. Has anyone read his newsletters?
“Crooks really, really comes across as an alt-right loon.” I guess you’re entitled to your opinion but I see some anarchist strains in this dude….and anarchists have been historically been the far left fringe. His parents are both career professional counsellors for their state’s equivalent of the department of social services…those types of orgs are bastions of the left, and those types of people are very rarely ever on the right. But hey, at this point I’m still gonna withhold judgement and repeat what I’ve said elsewhere on this site:
People on the left and right need to remember that there are some people out there who are just crazy…or have personal, nonpolitical reasons for their actions. Ronald Reagan’s shooter for example just wanted to impress an actress that he was obsessed with. The guy that shot Teddy Roosevelt thought that President McKinley’s ghost was telling him to do it. McKinley was shot by a guy who had lost his job in a prior national financial crisis and had turned to being an anarchist (so it was kind of both personal and political). The bottom line is we are only getting bits and pieces of this and proclaiming the shooter’s true motivations at this point is premature. Hopefully this guy left a manifesto around somewhere- that seems to be their preferred delusional, grandious way of leaving this world.
Whether or not you believe it was the driving cause behind this incident, there is no arguing against the fact that this has gained Trump more votes from undecided fence sitters, than a billion dollars in radio and TV ads, billboards, bumper stickers, and yard signs, ever would have gained him. The sympathy vote is a powerful thing. And let us not forget those suspiciously “staged” looking inspiring photos that are similarly inspiring like the flag being raised on Iwo Jima in WWII.

“unserious and unworthy people in positions of authority got us to this near disaster.”
That’s right. Donald Trump is about the most unserious and unworthy people around.
“This is the same mainstream media that has been comparing Donald Trump to Hitler for years”
Hey, Ronnie, it’s potential VP JD “Mandel” Vance who called Trump “America’s Hitler”.
Now eat your soup and go back to bed.
