In the wake of last week’s news that lis pendens had been filed on properties owned by South Carolina pastor John-Paul Miller, sources familiar with the various investigations and scandals swirling around the embattled preacher informed our media outlet that multiple civil lawsuits were in the works against him related to allegations of sexual abuse.

Miller – the founder of Solid Rock Ministries in Myrtle Beach, S.C. – has found himself in the national limelight following the mysterious death of his late wife, Mica Miller.

As exclusively reported by this media outlet two-and-a-half months ago, Miller’s body was discovered in the Lumber River State Park near Orrum, North Carolina on April 27, 2024. Based on forensic evidence and a 9-1-1 call placed by Mica, investigators determined she died as a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. However, this conclusion has been greeted with skepticism as her friends and family members have accused John-Paul Miller of waging a campaign of extreme harassment, coercive control, and abuse in the weeks and months leading up to her death.

Our audience will recall Mica Miller sued her husband for divorce less than two weeks prior to her death – papers John-Paul Miller was served with less than 48 hours before she died.

Court records have supported abuse allegations against John-Paul Miller, including an explosive custody filing submitted six weeks ago by his first wife, Alison “Ali” Williams. This custody filing – which was also reported exclusively by this news outlet -offered the public its first glimpse into the potential sexual assault allegations against Miller.

The bombshell complaint (.pdf), filed on May 31, 2024, provided additional explosive details to a story many thought couldn’t possibly experience more twists and turns. It also featured multiple exhibits (.pdf) in support of Williams’ petition – exhibits which contained disturbing revelations that peeled back more ominous layers of this still-unfolding saga.

According to Williams’ complaint, she and John-Paul Miller separated after she became aware of his affair with Mica – who had been their family nanny. Mica was married to Miller’s best friend, Jeremy Deas, at the time of the affair. According to her affidavit, Williams said John-Paul told her that in addition to his affair with Mica, he had “employed prostitutes,” and been “sexually inappropriate with several underage female members” of their church. Per his ex-wife, Miller blamed his “immoral sexual behaviors” on abuse he allegedly experienced for years at the hands of his father, Reginald “Reg” Wayne Miller.

Incidentally, Reg Miller is also likely to be a target of impending civil actions, according to our sources.

Despite the church’s recommendation that John-Paul Miller enroll in an extensive sexual addiction program, according to the complaint he did not attend the program as promised.

“Miller has failed to seek treatment for his deviant sexual addictions and behaviors,” the complaint alleged.

Nonetheless, Miller was allowed to continue serving as pastor of the growing congregation of Solid Rock at Market Common.

Whether or not any of the upcoming civil lawsuits are tied to the allegations in Williams’ complaint is unknown, but sources have indicated there have been multiple victims that have come forward and multiple attorneys involved.

IDK but could FITS please interview a few of his flock? Maybe link a sermon? Trying hard to understand why a class B sociopath has devoted followers funding his delusional, even criminal activities? Than you,
