My head is spinning. I do appreciate all that you and Fitsnews are doing to bring the corruption in Laurens county to light as well as other SC counties. Maybe, just maybe when the deceit is no longer swept under the rug and Laurens is finally “clean,” we can get down to the business of respecting, honoring and believing in a system where all residents are treated fairly and equally. That the youth will see that crime doesn’t pay and no matter who you think you are or what office you hold, no one is above the law.

This chief sounds exactly like sheriff Will Lewis just prior to his arrest. SLED needs to wake up and start an investigation into this officers actions as well as the actions of the mayor and chief. Nothing is stopping the Sheriff from requesting one since all of this is occurring in his county. The solicitor can also request that SLED become involved. I wouldn’t vote to re-elect the sheriff or the solicitor if they are too weak to make sure their constituents are safe from rogue officers and administrators like the ones at Laurens PD.

Sounds like your informant may be a cancer on his/her organization. Sometimes a person can end up in a situation where their outlook is so poisoned by past perceived wrongs that they see everything through a distorted lens. Many times the only way out is to move on.
Maybe, maybe not! Maybe they want to help end the favoritism and the good ole boy system!

Especially the one that they pick up at his house when he is drunk!
