All Republicans are hypocrites. They beat their chest about protecting life, but the vast majority of them sit by and watch thousands of children die every day from starvation, lack of health care, lack of clean water, and the other necessities of life. Could they save the lives of thousands of these children? Of course, they could, but they choose not to. They turn their head and pretend they do not see, or they convince themselves it’s not their problem and God wants them to be rich and happy. They live lavish lifestyles, live in grand homes, drive expensive cars, go on expensive vacations, and generally pretend they are pious and good Christians. What a joke, they are. Most are certainly no Christian Christ would recognize. They don’t care about the poor, the sick, the suffering, and the oppressed. They twist and turn Christ’s words to justify their greed and their lack of concern for their fellow man; all while praying in public and pretending they are doing God’s work. Well, Christ can’t be fooled. He was very specific in what he expected of his followers; what should happen to the hypocrites and fake Christians; and there are going to be a lot of surprised Republicans come Judgment Day.

And the lord said unto them “For I was hungry, and you did not feed me. I was thirsty, and you did not give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you did not invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me. Then they will say, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’ And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’ And they will go away into eternal punishment . . .”

Blessed be the word of the Lord.

You are correct. Do you know why they spend all this energy on abortion and ignore all the other things you mention? The love of money. It costs them nothing to force a woman to give birth. But if they wanted to do anything about the other things you mentioned they would have to open their pocketbooks and pay money. They value life, but when it’s weighed against gold, not so much. No one is going to give up their 100k SUV, their beach home, their Caribbean vacation, their private schools, their clubs, or reduce their lifestyle in any way to save the lives of African or Central American peasant kids. They are not going to take down that razor wire in the Rio Grande and let “Mexican” rug rats fleeing poverty and oppression into this country. That may cost money, and they aren’t even white. Those are not the strangers Christ was talking about. He meant rich strangers, right?

You have to love Maga “Christians.” They really are clueless as to what their own religion teaches.
