Ken Ard: ‘Appalling And Discouraging’ Reactions To Israel-Hamas War

“Fanatical Islam is a direct threat to our nation’s safety and security.”

I try to be a simple man. I really do. But this big ass complicated world intrigues me. I’m not an expert on it, but I’m dangerously curious of it.

The current Jewish State of Israel was established on May 14, 1948 after the end of World War II. It’s the world most of us grew up in. But it’s far more convoluted and very few people exhibit the intellectual curiosity required to formulate sound reasoning based on an historical understanding of the complexities.

The God of Abraham, King David, The Ottoman Empire, British colonialism, The League of Nations, Gaza, The West Bank, apartheid and occupation, the two state solution, biblical prophecy, Jerusalem, etc. I could literally go on and on and on listing relevant issues that have contributed to one the most controversial and consequential geopolitical relationships (and issues) of the past two centuries. The Jews and Palestinians.

I ascribe to a Biblical worldview, Old and New Testament. My opinion of the situation is immensely influenced by that belief. But I accept that others believe something different. I believe that my God called King David in roughly 1,000 BC to place Jerusalem under Jewish authority. I accept that the holy city was controlled by the predominant Islamic Ottoman Empire for four hundred years. I’ll accept the British Mandate displaced many Palestinians and I understand the resentment. And in 1948 I respect that many in the world disagreed with President Harry Truman becoming the first world leader to officially recognize Israel as the Jewish state. I told you it’s complicated. And this is the Cliff Notes version.

I told you where I stand. I believe Israel is The Holy Land. I believe Jews are Gods chosen people. But I also understand the world includes five and a half billion people who don’t base their judgments on what I do.

The people of the world have every right to disagree with the Israeli government and it’s handling of Gaza and the West Bank. They have every right to advocate for more territory and less occupation. Jews aren’t blameless nor perfect.

But the Palestinians elected Hamas as their government of choice. And Hamas are ruthless barbarians that execute innocent women and children in ways unimaginable to most people. They aren’t militants. They aren’t freedom fighters. They’re terrorist and cold blooded killers. And funded by the Iranian government. Americans can disagree on the Palestinian-Jewish conflict. But watching some Americans celebrating the events of the past several days are appalling and discouraging. Appalling for the obvious reasons, discouraging because of our lack of understanding of history. And it’s consequences.

In closing, I’m on the record. No more funding for Ukraine. I’m also on the record in my support of Israel. Some of it is adherence to my Biblical worldview. But mostly it’s my concern that fanatical Islam is a direct threat to our nation’s safety and security. Hamas beheading Jewish children in Israel today is horrifying and subhuman. I’m more horrified by the number of people coming into our country via our southern border. You believe they’re all coming to pick strawberries and put out pine straw?

Wake up America. This is real serious shit.

“Beheaded or bayonetted babies or children?”

Reading around a bit, it seems modern history has an example or two where the great war machines used that as an excuse to set war in motion, even if not necessarily so. As I understand it, prior to or at the beginning of WWI, stories of German soldiers bayonetting babies were propagated. While they had the desired effect of getting us involved in WWI, no evidence that this was happening was ever uncovered. The war mongers know how to tug on peoples’ heartstrings.

Before the United States became involved in Kuwait in the early 1990’s, stories circulated about babies being similarly brutalized in hospitals and nurseries by Iraqi troops who invaded that country. Problem is, no tangible proof of such was found, but it worked just fine to get us balls-deep in that situation as well as later ones that grew from that one at great cost of American, Iraqi, and other lives. The war machine knows how to tug on peoples’ heartstrings.

Now, here we are again, this time in Israel, with stories of beheaded babies, dead women stripped naked and paraded around barbarically as Hamas members abuse her corpse, and similar. One video I watched earlier today had a Western female reporter, reporting from a scene where dismembered or similarly abused corpses where supposed to be, near ruins of buildings which might be residential. The camera followed her around as she spoke of the horrors there. In the background nearby, were small groups of (presumably) Israeli troops. They appeared to be talking and generally conferring with each-other, something men of arms do during lulls in action or perhaps in anticipation of action which may or may not come. Interestingly, there were no corpses or parts of corpses visible on the ground in their area.
Regarding the female “corpse” being abused in the pickup truck, contrary to reports, she was not naked. Reports I read earlier today said she was “alive but not well”. While her legs appeared to be twisted at an unnatural position in the truck, in this day of realistic moulages, crisis actors, CGI imagery, and more, I am not going to be quick to buy into it. I recall some months ago, when the “Russian brutality” rot was being played hot and heavy, seeing news footage from Ukraine. Taken from a large truck, possibly a military vehicle, via the front passenger (right side) window, you saw “bodies” of people laying alongside the road on the shoulder, sidewalk, or similar. The person sharing this video, second hand, backed up the video to point out something that I had missed, and I am sure many others did, too. As the truck progressed down the road, if you looked in its door-mounted rearview mirror, you would see the “bodies” getting up off the ground and standing up, as the truck drove past them. Having heard no credible reports of corpses re-animating in Ukraine, I can only come up with one idea as to why this was happening. Yeah boys and girls, good ole’war machine propaganda!

When it comes to stuff like this, don’t be so eager to involve our men and women, their lives, their health, and our money in somebody else’s conflict. We have been played like this before and no doubt will be played like this again.

Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see!

More conspiracy theory crap from the internet.

Strangely, you seem to believe anything these conspiracy site post. While asking others to not believe trusted sources of news.

Being a useful idiot is a sad way to go through life.

What people like yourself never seem to get, is that these “trusted sources of news” are no longer trustworthy. Some never were, but you believed them anyway.

I am glad that you agree that, “Being a useful idiot is a sad way to go through life”. They say that admitting you have a problem is the first step to conquering that problem. I wish you well in that struggle.

I can tell you’ve done A LOT of “research” of your own.

Why do you conspiracy fools all end up in the same, generic anti-Semitic place after all of that “research”? Funny how you directly parrot the most current conspiracies about Israel? Just another sheep, too dumb to tell reality from fiction they get from questionable websites.

As long as Hamas hides HQs and ammo depots in residential buildings, Israel has the right to destroy every structure in Gaza. And anyone who even throws a rock at them should be killed. The main opposition to Israel are Obama and his minions, and leftist weenies in the media and the UN.

The unfounded stories of atrocities on both sides can be attributed directly to the fact that journalism died in 2016. There is no fact-checking or editing going on.

Babies beheaded in Israel just may have the same lack of veracity as the babies in incubators in Kuwait.

Running foreign policy from a Biblical worldview strikes me as potentially as dangerous as Hamas’ Islamic worldview.

I am a firm supporter of giving Israel everything they need to defend themselves and the Jewish people. I am also a Christian, but this has to be the dumbest article I have read in a long time. This guy wants to help Israel and ignore the suffering people of Ukraine. And what are his reasons?

First, the Hamas terrorists are brutal monsters who kill babies. That is true. It is also true that Russia attacked a country that had done nothing to them. They have bombed and killed tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilians, including women and children. They have intentionally bombed hospitals and civil defense shelters, containing women, children, and old people. In the cities they have occupied they have raped women, they have lined up men and women, shot them, and buried their bodies in mass graves. They have left old women and men in their bombed-out homes with no food or water to starve or die in the cold, and they have tortured thousands for refusing to accept their rule. They have made children watch their parents be killed and then taken those children to Russian reeducation camps. Putin is a war criminal and a murderous cold-blooded killer of innocent men, women and children. Russia has done to the people of Ukraine everything Hamas has done to Israel many times over.

Second Hamas is a threat to the safety and security of the US. So a few thousand poorly armed terrorists, locked in an area about the size of a large US city and whom one of our aircraft carriers could wipe out in 48 hours is a threat to the safety and security of the US, but a nuclear-armed Russia, with hundreds of thousands of men under arms, an air force and a Navy run by a murderous dictator who wants to take over Europe and who hates the United States and wants to destroy us is not?

Your lack of concern for those who suffer at the hands of the Russian terrorist, and the danger the Russian state poses to the United States is both appalling (and un-Christian) and perplexing.

So here is something to put in Biblical worldview pipe and smoke it; Russia is Magog.

We need to stand up to terrorists everywhere because it is the right thing to do and our Christian duty to stand up for the weak. And if that is not enough for you, if we turn our heads, they will come to us. “To whom much is given much is expected.”

So, you believe everything the media tells you? I am the media. Leave $10,000 in cash in the dumpster enclosure at Zestos in West Columbia. As soon as I have received it and counted it, I will grant you ten wishes, whatever you want! Honest!

Ask yourself one simple question…who benefits the most from a Israeli-Palestine war?

Now this may be a bit difficult for a simple man from Pamplico to follow, but here goes–he can read all about it in that bastion of liberal journalism, the Wall Street Journal (just kidding, it’s owned by Rupert Murdoch) which reported last week that Iran was a primary funder and trainer of the Hamas militants leading the raid on Israel. And who was back-financing the Iranians? Here’s a clue–it’s the person who needed a distraction and a big one–fast from his repeated defeats and an uprising in his own country, the GOP’s beloved Putin. Fund the attack on one of the US’s closest allies, spread more discord in the already powder keg of the Middle East, and hey, let’s get Iran to help out–they hate anything Americans are for, and boom, you got one hell of a distraction. To further support this assumption, you should know that Hamas Leaders paid a little visit to Putin in March of this year and immediately after the attack, the Arab League chief, reported back to Moscow.

How does this help Putin? Well, now the US is going to have to support two wars, one in the Ukraine, one in the Middle East and which ones are likely to win the most $$$$? Putin’s got both this distraction away from Ukraine and possibly the end of US aid to Ukraine since we now have to finance Israel too.

This has long been Putin’s MO. He has been a supporter of the worst of the worst for ages, all across the World, with Russia behind the suppression of uprising in Syria and Chechnya, insurrections in the Sudan and Niger, not to mention his ongoing illegal annexation of formerly Russian territories including Crimea, Moldova, Georgia, and yes, Ukraine. Then there is his support of worldwide hacking and disinformation campaigns, which have brought him financial riches, troves of intel, resulting in a deeply divided US and UK–both long-time foes of Russia. Just one more attempt in his ongoing quest to promote war and discord worldwide.

Then there is the other bit of very odd timing of the whole Israeli Attack: October 7th, which just happens to be the birthday of Vladimir Putin. That’s one hell of a coincidence, isn’t it?
