I live in Lexington County. I needed to find a primary doctor and found a good one with MUSC a year or so ago. He was located in Lexington County. Then, I found out that they were closing that facility because of financial systems, and if I wanted to continue seeing him, I would have to drive all the way close to Blythewood. This article has helped make up my mind — I’m getting away from MUSC. Second, I have a cardiologist in Lexington County who is also now with MUSC. They are keeping them open. He is HORRIBLE and can be extremely hateful and doesn’t mind lying. Ever since they switched to MUSC, there is one medication that I have been on that is always being prescribed wrong, then they get mad and blame me for their incompetence. So, this article has helped me to make a decision to go with Lexington County Hospital doctors who have gained a good reputation.
