The responding officers didn’t even ask for the name of the person driving the boat that day. Never filed a report of the incident. Never reported the accident to SCDNR. Never followed up with the family. Instead they offered the driver of the boat hand sanitizer to clean the blood off his hands and even joked that the hand sanitizer, “smelled like vodka”. Feel free to request the officers body camera footage via a FOIA request. Everything about this case is suspect. The stories told from that day are suspect. The cover up is suspect. Do you trust your local legal process? If I lived in Rochland County, SC I truly would not.
