“The new law contained no mention of “informed choice,” and also specifically established the scientific basis for the six-week time frame it imposed.”

There is NO scientific basis for this. At 6 weeks there is no heart yet, just the beginning of a pulsing blood vessel that will eventually become the heart about a month later. Fitsnews never lets pesky facts get in the way!

Republicans have their own brand of science, remember? Satan burying all those fake dinosaur bones, global warming suddenly happening because of a star that’s only been there for billions of years still existing, pizza being a vegetable, and apple flavored horse paste being a miracle drug.

Actually Ivermectin is a miracle drug with a Nobel prize to boot. Its been successfully used in more than 100,000,000 human cases for a variety of ailments since 1987 with almost no side effects.

I assure you, if you try self-administering horse paste or sheep drench to treat a severe case of coronavirus, the only miracle you will likely experience is meeting Jesus faster.

The fact that the state of South Carolina does not have a process for its citizens to Amend their Constitution is outrageous. It shows that the Legislature does not give a crap what the people of this state think. It is all about their power and their money and the people who bribe them. Wake up, SC!! The vast majority of people in this state do not agree with this law. The Republicans know this, and yet they persist in squelching any opposition to their totalitarian rule. It is time to organize and vote these SOBs out of office. We need a majority so that we can Amend the Constitution. Through Amendments we can set up a system of recalls and to a way to Amend the Constitution without the consent of the ruling party in the legislature. In states where they care what the people think they already have these mechanisms. But not in SC.

Every citizen, especially women and men with daughters and granddaughters, need to vote and when you vote you need to vote against Republicans at ever level; regardless of what they say. They cannot be trusted and will always lie to protect their power. Getting a majority committed to reforming this state to return the power to its people is the only option we have.
