I bet none of them would bitch and whine about 21st century “wokeness.” I doubt Bass blamed “woke mind virus” for setting his son free.

According to you, illegal immigrants are badasse.

So, we need more illegals immigrants?

You “conservative men” are a very confused and angry bunch.

Maybe try and be consistent with your backwards and unpopular views.

Trumpers want more badasses.

Trumpers are not badasses.

The replacement theory is coming from inside the house!

According to Sherman Carmichel’s “Forgotten Tales of South Carolina”, Anne Bonny left the islands after she was released from prison and traveled to South Carolina where she died in 1782.

Shackleton definitely belongs on your list, probably at the top, but your description of his journey is inaccurate. After his ship Endurance was crushed by ice in the Antarctic, he managed to get his crew to Elephant Island, which was uninhabited and not the site of whaling stations. He realized he needed to get help, so he set off in a tiny boat with a few colleagues to head for South Georgia, nearly 800 miles away. THAT was the astounding navigation feat you describe. Eventually he managed to get a ship to go back to Elephant Island where he rescued the rest of the crew. Despite the awful experience, he didn’t lose a man. The best book on Shackleton’s adventure is Caroline Alexander’s The Endurance.

Dennis, You are correct. I was going from memory having read Endurance, and obviously failed to recall a full step in the badassedness. Thank you for the correction.

I initially thought Anne Bonny was an odd inclusion in this list. After all, she was a violent criminal, who along with her gang of criminals went around robbing, murdering, and maiming law-abiding people until she was caught by law enforcement. She then escaped justice for her crimes by playing the victim and lying. But as I thought about it more, she embodies the archetype of a MAGA hero.
