It was another huge week of news related to the ‘Murdaugh Murders’ crime and corruption saga – with a new documentary in the works, civil and criminal court cases looming on the horizon and, of course, the publication of the latest round of jail records regarding South Carolina’s most notorious convicted killer, Alex Murdaugh.
Those records included the first jailhouse call from Murdaugh since his incarceration in the S.C. Department of Corrections (SCDC) system – a 42-second chat with his surviving son, Buster Murdaugh.
In this week’s edition of our popular ‘Week In Review‘ program, we walk through all of the latest developments on these various Murdaugh-related fronts.
We also sat down with the man whose office was responsible for prosecuting Murdaugh – South Carolina attorney general Alan Wilson. A preview of that interview is included in this week’s show – with the full interview currently scheduled to drop sometime next week.
Our conversation with Wilson spanned multiple subjects, but the issue featured in the show was the apprehension earlier this week of convicted killer/ gang leader Jeroid J. Price. As our audience no doubt recalls, Price was illegally and unconstitutionally released from a Palmetto State prison back in March – news which first broke here. Wilson talked extensively about the Price scandal – and his ongoing efforts to reform the so-called “justice” system which set Price free.

It was also a tremendously hectic week on the political front. Major developments went down from 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue (where a botched cocaine investigation has exposed the subservience of law enforcement and the media to the American deep state) all the way down to the Florida panhandle – where donors supporting Ron DeSantis, the top Republican challenger to Donald Trump, appear to be having some second thoughts.
We will dig much deeper into those issues in tomorrow’s edition of our ‘Palmetto Political Stock Index.’
