PBMs are a mixed bag, they have positive and negative effects on stuff.
Every time a pharmaceutical gouges their customers, immediately revoke their IP protections. Even better, have the government roll up its sleeves and directly compete in the market with public pharmaceutical companies, and only charge cost + 10%. Send a message if they break the backs of sick Americans then America is going to break their back in return.
Pharmaceuticals is rife with greedy bastards. Don’t give them the carrot, give them the stick.
