“…approximately twenty members of the Freedom Caucus (including Magnuson) were expelled from their party caucus earlier this year after refusing to sign a ‘loyalty oath’.”
Seems the Loyalty Oath was designed to prevent 20 conservative members from criticizing unethical dealings as reported in this article, which tells the reader that Attorney Bowers was paid $60,000 by convicted killer Alex Murdaugh to get his son readmitted to the USC law school in 2019, and that he was involved in the NC Two Kings Casino Resort scandal along with Nikki Haley’s husband.
If FC members are being maligned by GOP lawmakers for opposing unethical dealings such as these, then the only negative that exists is that the FC numbers a mere twenty.
