Woke Indoctrination? Conservative Cancellation? Charleston Drama Raises Questions …

Charleston is rapidly sinking deeper into a cesspit of liberality. Why you ask? simple, it has become increasingly popular as an “it destination”. People move there because it’s the new, in thing to escape the disaster of where they’re leaving and forgetting why they left, try to make the new town like the old town.

I admit that our “to big for an asylum, too small for a Republic” state has its issues, but damn. Libs and Yankees make fun of our “I don’t care how you did it up north” bumper stickers while moving here because of our generally friendly, slower life style.

I lived all over the US and the world, but I was in Washington state for a few years. It was the most amoral place I’ve ever lived. Not immoral, amoral. Pregnant lady on the side of the road with a flat? Not a single person would stop to help. But as bad as Washingtonians are, Californians were worse, in fact, there was a popular T-shirt at the time with a highway bridge on it that had a sign that said “Californians, exit here” and the exit was a drop off into the water.

I’m going to work a few more years and then I’m going to the SC mountains, not somewhere “tony” like Hendersonville or Asheville – somewhere backwards like Mountain Rest or Cleveland and pray that a Starbucks doesn’t open until I’m gone.
