I thought that the investigator should have asked Corey:”Mr. Fleming are you here as a representative of Mr. Murdoch?” If the answer is yes, then we will treat you like a defense attorney and WE will ask the questions and you can offer advice to your client, if you are not, then, I am giving you the courtesy of letting you sit in this session, not guide it. You are here to listen. Only.” Corey was out of line, but the investigator let him go out of line because he was there with a Murdaugh. Period. Another small glimpse of privilege enjoyed by the powerful. Thanks Will and Jen for your coverage.
What continues to be forgotten is that the legal system is influenced by the legislature. Think!! If you were hired ( judges) by the legislature ( who are also lawyers practicing and have court in front of the very judges they appoint), why wouldn’t people like Murdaugh and friends be allowed to be corrupt.
You also need to look at all institutions that the legislature appoints…..College is Sc….who are trustees and who has had a daddy that was a legislature? They do these people protect their relatives who work at the college and university?
The Murdaugh case has shined a light on the influence and corruption of the legislature, judges and other institutions like college. With no accountability, no change….why has the national news gone silent about this horrible corruption that has surfaced?
AM did not get out of car to check his wife and son when he arrived at kennels. His steps did not start until after the 911 call began. Liar!
