Shame on the NYT for a knee-jerk take on the situation. This is bigger than the actions of the anti McCarthy Trumper nihilists. That said, I am continually amazed at the “Party of Smaller Government” hypocrisy. They continually talk about freedom and rights, yet want to enforce a communist era type oath upon their members. This coming especially from South Carolinians! We have historically, rabidly protected our freedoms. As an independent voter who leans right, I am repulsed from voting for a party that is so anti-freedom. In addition, I have known Joe White for nearly 40 years. He is a man of impeccable character and principle, and I couldn’t be prouder of him.

The NYT is the Toilet Paper of Record. God Bless the Freedom Caucus. We The People must Resist the Tyranny of the territorial control freaks. They work for Us, not the Republican establishment.

Is there not a list of GOP lawmakers who are refusing to sign the oath, so we can reach out to them and offer encouragement to stand their ground?
