I don’t think this person is done with therapy. It also seems extremely bizarre that this person feels they are a victim of liberal propaganda, only to find themselves now being used for conservative propaganda.
I won’t diminish this person’s personal experience, if they tried things that didn’t work for them I’m sorry it didn’t work out and I hope they find whatever path they need to be on. That being said it’s really incredible that Drunkle cherry picks this one outcome over the actual statistics that show the overwhelming majority of people who come out as trans and undergo various treatments tend to be on the positive side.
Calling out the dangerous cult behind gender ideology and these so-called treatments for mental illness is not “conservative propaganda”. You can Google statistics on how trans people who underwent various medical treatments felt about it after the fact. This is why those treatments exist and are recommended in the first place.
I’d encourage you to have empathy for your fellow human beings.
The medical community not ascribing it to particular psychological diagnosis means nothing. That was not done based on medical research. The “statistics” you cite is merely anecdote and hasn’t been studied extensively. But you can actually google suicide and self-harm statistics among those who consider themselves “trans” and find a rate higher than any other group. I’d encourage you to actually have empathy for those people and not give them a false sense of identity that you think will help them.
Yeah, suicidal ideation, and self harm are very common amongst LGBTQ+ people, especially youths, and it’s more prevalent in the trans community. Perhaps transpeople, the people who need access to therapists, and to learn more about their crippling dysphoria and what treatments are available, aren’t accepted in society. They’re denied housing, jobs on many occasions even if they’re qualified, and life generally sucks. Why, then, is it surprising that blocking a person’s ability to be who they are, how they present, be consistently used as propaganda fodder, and able to live full lives want to kill themselves? Huh, guess we’ll never know. Well, you could also read the story of Eden Knight, or countless other transpeople who have killed themselves. Oh, it’s the ones who detransition and go on Fox, and OAN to talk about how “evil” an “ideology” transgenderism is it? They’re paid by the Heritage Foundation, it’s a propagandistic grift.

In 1973 the American Psychiatric Association took homosexuality off the list of mental illnesses. In 2012 they did the same with transgenderism. Not the correlation with the breakdown and degradation of American society.
