So, we are supposed to believe that:
1. While everyone is STILL ASLEEP, their 4 dogs are roaming around the porch (when, in fact, these dogs are always kept in the kennels at night, never in the house, Maggie herself and caretakers have said on other occasions).
2. Gloria suffers EXTREME injuries from the fall, unusually egregious, including broken ribs and a perforated bowel, in addition to the head wounds.
3. Maggie says she “found Gloria bleeding on the steps” because of “dogs barking” BUT on the 911 call Maggie says she hasn’t yet seen Gloria or know where the wound is because she’s calling on a landline upstairs (that’s why she can’t go downstairs, she tells the 911 operator, irritated at the questions).
4. You can hear in the background of the 911 call more than one person talking to each other (one is Paul, presumably) to “Do it” (whatever that means) who are not Maggie or Gloria.
And how is Maggie seeing all of this from upstairs when Gloria is out on the steps, I’ll never know. I hope experts will further magnify those voices.
5. Alex, who said he was at work 20+ minutes away somehow beats the ambulance to the house (EMS arrives at 9:41) even though Maggie made the call to 911 at 9:24 (and was on the phone several minutes with dispatch)
and Alex HIMSELF stated in the report that he got a call from Maggie at 9:45 that Gloria had fallen.
So, forgive me, but that is some magic car Alex has, that allows him to go BACK IN TIME TO BEAT THE AMBULANCE that arrived at 9:41, when he was called at 9:45 at work.
And even if Alex was mistaken on the time of the call that he provided, the ambulance was at the house in less than 17 minutes. He beat it? Ridiculous. Why are they lying.
All three of these people know what happened to Gloria Satterfield.
I totally understand in times of stress, some facts can be a little off.. but these three people have so, so, many statements that do not match, and in fact, some lies regarding the dogs being out while they were sleeping and no one but Alex said she was tripped by a dog (Gloria can’t remember at the hospital, and Alex wouldn’t have even been there to hear it if it had been said). And Paul explained to 911 that Gloria couldn’t talk, only mumble.
I initially really thought it was an accident and that Alex was just a thief for taking the insurance money. But these people killed her or know who killed her. There is no reason for so many lies, otherwise. Especially when they were planning to admit fault to get the insurance to pay out.
And why you would call your employee on her day off to make a special trip for a check.. makes no sense.
One more tidbit I found interesting, was that a family friend or employee friend said in an online video that Gloria had told Maggie that her son Paul was “hurting small animals” and that she (Maggie) needed to know. I wish I knew more about what that entailed, but maybe I’m better off not knowing.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for such a well-detailed piece. Putting this information in one timeline is extremely helpful, and it absolutely changed my opinion, regarding the “accident”. I hope the truth is uncovered, whatever that is. But this family was not truthful, for whatever reason.
I don’t believe foul play in Gloria’s death. All the lies were to collect on 2 insurance policies. If she was murdered the family would not have allowed her to be taken to hospital not knowing if she would survive and accuse them. I believe her fall was hard & caused many injuries because she fainted from a medical condition at the top of brick stairs. The car accident day before could have caused some injuries not related to the fall. I don’t think they do autopsies if you die in the hospital & cause of death was heart & stroke. Death certificate of natural causes not suspicious for that reason. Alex coming up with a story quickly is not hard to understand from a lawyer that did that for a living. He knew exactly what had to be said in order to file a claim.
With all that said, if the sons want to have body exhumed they have that right. To me it doesn’t change the fact that Alex is never getting out of prison. Paul & Maggie are gone. What purpose will it serve. I hope Gloria’s sons are free from anyone trying to manipulate them ever again. I pray Eric Bland put their money in a solid and safe trust account for their protection & away from anyone with bad intentions.
I just te/listened to Alex’s LE interview regarding Satterfield’s fall. He sounds EXACTLY like he did when he told anyone who would listen he was not at the kennels the night Paul and Maggie were murdered. Alex is a sociopath who lies to everyone. I firmly believe someone pushed her to sustain such serious injuries. It’s time LE and Solicitor dig deep into this death as well as Steven Smith’s death
Sharon … Amen to what you posted. I am baffled by the apparent success of Attorney Eric Bland’s wide-spread efforts to convince the WORLD that there was no criminality involved in Gloria’s actual “fall”. The entire incident is almost a dress rehearsal for the later murders at Moselle. Victim was “lured” … then assaulted (perhaps not intentionally to kill Gloria, but definitely to set up insurance fraud) Then improbable lies from Alex about where he was, what he heard, etc., etc., etc. (My guess is he never left property that day at all. He hit Gloria, pushed her down the stairs, then woke up Paul and Maggie and told them so baloney story about he had to “to go the office” (my conjecture) and that they needed to call 911 and deal with it. Personally I believe that Paul and Maggie’s well-publicized “shortness” or “rudeness” with the 911 operator was the result of being angry and confused about what was going on. To say there was no crime involved in her “fall” is patently ridiculous. EB’s self-serving motives, of course, are totally transparent and as such are disgusting. I am personally very disappointed with Liz and Mandy’s continued involvement with EB. But that is another story.
