The First District is “strange”. They elected the GPS-challenged former governot (intentional misspelling), Mark Sanford, to the House. Nancy Mace wanted to create a “Mommy Caucus”, because, gosh-darn-it, being a single mom and leaving two kids home alone in Charleston is hard! Perhaps, she should turn her focus locally, such as county council.
