As a member of Shandon Baptist Church for the past 29 years, I desire to set the record straight on some issues that have come up and now have passed away.
The fact that one of the pastors over a student ministry was discovered in an extramarital affair is true. He was fired and the issue was resolved in the church. It was not publicized because it was quickly handled.
SBC has become very unified in its beliefs, in prayer, in accountability, and management under fairly new leadership. The excellent people God has placed in the church has blessed all who are attending and involved in reaching others for the Lord. Come and see how God works and changes the hearts and minds of people to be together in one accord.
