Letter: A Personal Perspective On Kenney Boone

“We are all better than our worst deeds …”

Dear Editor,

The Kenney Boone I know is a good man and a good friend. What made me admire him started a long time ago.

We were students at James F. Byrnes Academy. Although it didn’t involve me there were incidents of bullying going on at the school and Kenney Boone put an end to it, quite peacefully.

I hope the good the man has done is something people are weighing their opinions of Kenney with.

We are all better than our worst deeds. If he is in fact guilty of what he is accused of I would certainly wish the law be upheld but until then he is innocent until proven guilty.

Sincerely,

Robert Miley, Florence S.C.
