An AMBER Alert has been issued in connection with a missing South Carolina girl …
Eleven-month-old Harlee Lane Lewis – a white girl with blue eyes and short, blonde hair – was reportedly abducted “from her mother’s arms” at 202 Daisy Road in Loris, S.C. on Tuesday afternoon. She was wearing a purple, one-piece infant outfit (a.k.a. a “onesie”) at the time she was taken.
According to the alert, Lewis was abducted at around 1:20 p.m. EDT on Tuesday while her mother was checking the mail. The mother – whose name was not released – was reportedly assaulted during the abduction.
The suspect being sought in connection with her disappearance is a white male who is approximately 6-foot-2 and of “slim build.” He was reportedly wearing a grey toboggan over his face and a black rain jacket at the time the little girl was taken.
The suspect was last seen driving a tan sport utility vehicle “possibly headed toward North Carolina.”
The AMBER Alert was issued by the S.C. State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) at the request of the Chesterfield County, S.C. sheriff’s office.
