The South Carolina House of Representatives is in session today.  It gavels to order at 10:00 a.m. EST.  You can watch those proceedings live here (and here is the House’s calendar and journal).

The State Senate is also in session today.  It gavels to order at 11:00 a.m. EST. You can watch those proceedings live here (and here is the Senate’s calendar and journal).

Aside from these two perfunctory sessions, it’s a light day on meetings at the State House complex …

9:00 a.m. EST –  Joint Citizens and Legislative Committee on Children (Gressette Building, Room 209 – agenda).

9:00 a.m. EST – South Carolina Procurement Review Panel (Brown Building, Room 252 – agenda).

9:00 a.m. EST  – House Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environmental Affairs Committee (Blatt Building, Room 410 –agenda).

9:00 a.m. EST – House LCI Business and Commerce Subcommittee (Blatt Building, Room 403 – agenda).

9:30 a.m. EST – Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee (Gressette Building, Room 207 – agenda).

Upon adjournment of the House – Economic Development, Transportation and Natural Resources Subcommittee of the Legislative Oversight Committee (Blatt Building, Room 321 – agendawatch).

Lawmakers return to Columbia, S.C. next Tuesday as the second regular session of the 122nd S.C. General Assembly continues.
