The South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has released a sketch of an individual whom “investigators want to talk with” in connection with an alleged on-campus sexual assault that occurred at the College of Charleston last week.
According to the agency, this person of interst “is described as being a white male, college age” who is between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 with a “medium build (and) dark brown hair.”
Agents say this individual was last seen on October 27, 2017 – the date of the alleged assault – between the hours of midnight and 2:15 a.m. EDT in a residence hall on St. Philip Street, north of Calhoun Street in downtown Charleston, S.C.

According to college police, the victim in this alleged assault was in her dorm room on campus when she heard a knock at her door in the early morning hours of October 27. When she opened the door to see who was knocking, the suspect is alleged to have forced his way into the room and sexually assaulted her.
News of the assault was first reported by Deanna Pan of The (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier.
