Arrest warrants have been issued in Marlboro County, South Carolina this week in connection with a scandal involving sex, drugs and an underage victim.
Austin Floyd Treadaway, 21, of Cleo, S.C. is facing two charges – criminal sexual conduct with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Other charges could be forthcoming …
These charges stem from a Christmas Eve 2016 incident involving Treadaway, another as-yet-unnamed individual and a fifteen-year-old girl. According to affidavits filed with the arrest warrants, Treadaway committed “sexual battery” against the victim on that date.
He is also accused of “purchasing alcohol and cocaine to be consumed by him and the minor victim.”

Classy guy, huh?
Obviously, this news site’s libertarian-leaning views on recreational drugs differ dramatically from those of most media outlets – but any rational person draws the line at supplying such substances to underage children.
That’s never appropriate …
Stay tuned … we’re told there may be other charges filed related to this case, although it’s not clear whether that means additional charges against Treadaway or a second suspect.
