Wait … what? Isn’t this former U.S. president Barack Obama’s “best GOP ally?” An amnesty pimp? Not to mention the guy who has been driving the progressive narrative in Washington, D.C.?
Yes …
More recently, though, Graham is the lead sponsor of a so-called Obamacare “repeal” bill currently up for debate in the U.S. Senate. The Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson proposal is being pushed by the liberal GOP lawmaker and fellow U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy, Dean Heller and Ron Johnson.
Backed by U.S. president Donald Trump, this measure would repeal Obamacare’s individual and employer mandates and replace its current spending framework with a block grant system.
Technically it would not repeal Obamacare, though. In fact, it would leave an estimated 90 percent of the economically debilitating law in place.
Try telling that to rabid progressives, though …
“Lindsay Graham is trying to pull a fast one and kill Obamacare,” liberal activist Bill Knudson wrote to his supporters this week. “We live, vote and need health care in South Carolina and think (Obamacare) should be retained.”
Knudson organized a “sign protest” in front of Graham’s Rock Hill, S.C. office on Monday “to show our disapproval of Sen. Graham’s actions.”
Wow … liberals protesting Lindsey Graham?
