As Seen On A South Carolina Highway …

It’s for sale, too …

It’s been a long time since we’ve done a #FITSList item … and while we’re not going to dive back into that marketplace just yet, it would be interesting to see what sort of price the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters would fetch.

Condition could be an issue, though …

One of our sources snapped this picture after stumbling upon an abandoned camper located in the median of U.S. Route 221 in Spartanburg County, S.C.  The dilapidated mobile shack – labeled with a sign that read “For Sale: Cheap” – was festooned with a DNC headquarters sign by a partisan passerby.

Too funny …

And based on the status of the Democratic party in the Palmetto State, too accurate.

Once the dominant party in South Carolina, the last two-and-a-half decades have seen a complete reversal of fortunes for Democrats.  In fact for the last fifteen years, they’ve been completely out of power …

As it stands now, Democrats control zero statewide offices, zero U.S. Senate seats, just one of seven U.S. congressional seats (the heavily gerrymandered sixth district) and are the decided minority in both chambers of the state legislature.

Their only saving grace?  It turns out South Carolina’s ruling “Republicans” are every bit as fiscally liberal as they are … embarking on profligate taxingborrowing and spending on a government that produces consistently abysmal outcomes – economicallyfiscallyeducationally and with regards to infrastructurepublic safety and other core functions of government.
