“GOLDEN SHOWER” MEMO UPDATE
U.S. Senator John McCain – one of the most prominent GOP opponents of U.S. president Donald Trump – is facing renewed scrutiny over his alleged role in the leaking of an infamous dossier intended to advance the far left’s “Russia rigged the election” narrative.
This dossier – published by BuzzFeed on January 10 – alleged that Trump engaged in “perverted sexual acts” with multiple prostitutes at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Moscow. Among these perversions? “Golden showers” – a colloquialism for the act of urinating on someone (or being urinated upon) for sexual gratification.
These acts were alleged to have been part of an “arranged/monitored” Russian intelligence operation intended to exploit “Trump’s personal obsessions and sexual perversion.”
According to the dossier, Russia had been “cultivating, supporting, and assisting” Trump for more than five years as part of its effort to disrupt the “western alliance.”
Was any of this true? No …
The dossier was quickly debunked, ultimately creating more scandal for those who leaked and published it than for its intended target. Of course the broader “Russia rigged the election” narrative survived and has since been accepted as fact by the far left and its media mouthpieces.
And for that matter, some of Trump’s own appointees …
“Everybody knows that Russia meddled in our elections,” U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (UN) Nikki Haley said last week.

Really? We suggest Haley check her facts. Or her choke collar. Because once again, she’s wrong. And off-message.
Anyway, this week Kevin G. Hall of McClatchy reported that McCain’s name continues to come up in connection with the leaking of this dossier. Specifically, McCain is named in court documents by attorneys of Chris Steele – the discredited British spy who compiled the document.
According to Steele’s attorneys, McCain sought a copy of the dossier and one of his representatives assured Steele it would be “treated in the strictest confidence and would only be used by Senator McCain in his official capacity for the sole purpose of (analyzing), investigating and verifying their contents to enable such action to be taken as necessary for the purposes of protecting U.S. national security.”
Very interesting …
When was this alleged guarantee made? That’s a critical question.
McCain claimed he turned over the document to former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) director James Comey – who has testified under oath to receiving it on January 6. Steele has said he completed the report in October.
But what happened between October and the eventual publication of the document on January 10?
We’re not sure what sort of legal consequences McCain could face in connection with his alleged role in the leak of this dossier, but at this point it seems abundantly clear his prior statements seeking to distance himself from it are going to be revisited.
Bottom line? McCain and other “Republicans” in Washington, D.C. are no friends to the Trump administration. They are, have been and will continue trying to take him out at any and every opportunity … truth be damned.
That’s obviously their right, but we would encourage readers to consider what is really motivating all of this.
