TIGERS LOOK TO BUILD ON SUCCESS …
Clemson University released its 2017 men’s soccer schedule this week – a slate that features eleven home tilts and nine matches against teams that made the NCAA tournament a year ago.
Last year’s Tiger team went 15-3-6 – making it all the way to the NCAA’s “Elite Eight” round of the postseason.
“The ACC continues to set the bar for college soccer in terms of competition. We are extremely excited to host our ACC colleagues as well as our traditional rivals South Carolina and UNC-Charlotte,” Clemson head coach Mike Noonan said. “It will also be great to renew an old rivalry when UCLA comes to Historic Riggs Field on Tuesday, September 19. I believe our 2017 team will be extremely competitive and also very entertaining for our fans.”
The last time South Carolina visited Riggs Field the match drew 7,368 fans – the second-largest crowd in school history.
Anyway, here’s Clemson’s schedule …
