The SC Department of Juvenile Justice is looking for the best and brightest to serve the agency and the state of South Carolina.
DJJ’s core mission is to protect the public and reclaim juveniles, and the agency is holding a job fair Wednesday, May 31, to find individuals best qualified to champion that cause. It’s from 9am – 3pm at DJJ’s Broad River Road Complex in the Bill Rogers Community Connections Center (CCC.) The address is 4900 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC 29212.
The agency is looking for candidates of strong character, a solid work ethic and the highest integrity to fill Juvenile Correctional Officer and Dietarypositions.
Applicants must also…
– have a high school diploma or GED
– possess a valid driver’s license
– pass a background and drug test
– be willing to work 12-hour shifts
Those hired will receive excellent training and state benefits.
