“ROBBERY GONE WRONG” THEORY TAKES ANOTHER BEATING …
Remember Seth Rich? He was a 27-year-old data analyst with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) who was shot and killed last July in what was referred to by police as a “botched robbery.”
There were no witnesses. No suspects. And nothing was stolen from Rich – even though he was in possession of his wallet, cell phone, car keys, watch and a $2,000 necklace at the time of the shooting.
Sound fishy? Damn right …
Two weeks after Rich’s death, whistleblowing website WikiLeaks released a treasure trove of several thousand internal DNC emails. These documents highlighted the extent to which the party colluded with pliable members of the mainstream media to advance the candidacy of eventual party nominee Hillary Clinton – while savaging the populist insurgency of independent socialist U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
The leak cost the Democrats’ chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz her job -although she was hired the same day by Clinton’s campaign (the candidate she was working for all along).
The leak also prompted an FBI investigation into rumors of Russian involvement in the 2016 election … which has since been stirred up into a cause célèbre by the mainstream media and the progressive left.
This week, WTTG TV 5 (Fox – Washington, D.C.) has published a seismic report in which a private investigator hired by Rich’s family alleged that the murder was politically motivated.
“My investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks,” investigator Rod Wheeler said. “I do believe that the answers to who murdered Seth Rich sits on his computer on a shelf at the DC police or FBI headquarters.”
In fact, Wheeler claims police have been withholding “tangible evidence” from Rich’s laptop linking him with Wikileaks.
“The police department nor the FBI have been forthcoming,” Wheeler told the station. “They haven’t been cooperating at all. I believe that the answer to solving his death lies on that computer, which I believe is either at the police department or either at the FBI. I have been told both.”

Wheeler, a former D.C. homicide detective, also alleged that sources within the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) told him they were instructed to “stand down on this case.”
Curiously, Rich’s family released a statement refuting Wheeler’s claims.
“As we’ve seen through the past year of unsubstantiated claims, we see no facts, we have seen no evidence, we have been approached with no emails and only learned about this when contacted by the press,” a family spokesman told BuzzFeed.
Wheeler’s claims were corroborated, however, in a Fox News report quoting an unnamed federal investigator familiar with the case.
“I have seen and read the emails between Seth Rich and WikiLeaks.” the investigator told the network, adding that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was in possession of the incriminating information.
According to the Fox News’ report, Rich made contact with the whistleblowing website through Gavin MacFadyen, “a now-deceased American investigative reporter, documentary filmmaker and director of WikiLeaks who was living in London at the time.”
The federal source told Fox News that “44,053 emails and 17,761 attachments between Democratic National Committee leaders, spanning from January 2015 through late May 2016, were transferred from Rich to MacFadyen before May 21.”
Wikileaks’ founder Julian Assange has previously suggested that Hill’s murder may have been tied to the leaking of sensitive information from the DNC.
“Our whistle-blowers go to significant efforts to get us material and often very significant risks,” Assange told a Dutch television outlet last summer. ” There’s a 27-year-old, uh, works for the DNC who was shot in the back, murdered, just a few weeks ago, for unknown reasons as he was walking down the streets in Washington.”
