LOL, RUTH BADER GINSBURG …
How much warmongering does one politician have to do in order to be seen as a man?
Apparently a lot more than U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham is doing …
According to U.S. Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, South Carolina’s senior United States Senator is one of “the women of the Senate.”
Or at least that’s what it sounded like she said …
Ginsburg, 84, made the remark during a speech Monday at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. Specifically, she said Graham and Democrat Diane Feinstein of California were among those who could “lead in restoring harmonious work ways” in the chamber.
Harmony? In today’s Washington, D.C.? LOL.
College officials disputed media characterizations of Ginsburg’s remarks, saying she was merely referencing past winners of Allegheny’s “civility in public life” award – which was presented to Graham and Feinstein in 2013 and then the following year to the “women of the Senate.”
Either way, it’s hilarious …
Graham, 61, has represented South Carolina in the U.S. Senate since 2003. Prior to that he was a member of the U.S. House for eight years. He is one of the most fiscally liberal lawmakers in Congress and among the most strident, often irrational voices in support of American military intervention abroad.
