CAN SOUTHERN CHARM CO-STARS RESOLVE THEIR DIFFERENCES?
Reality television stars Thomas Ravenel and Kathryn Dennis will gather with their attorneys in Charleston, S.C. on April 20 for a mediation hearing in the couple’s ongoing custody case – news of which was exclusively reported here on FITSNews.
Can the two settle their issues and avoid going to trial? It’s doubtful …
Sources close to both stars tell us they are armed with all sorts of incriminating information on each other – which neither will hesitate to use if they feel it will give them an advantage.
“Mutually assured destruction,” a source familiar with some of the dirt told us.
In fact this website’s founding editor, Will Folks, could find himself dragged into the drama owing to his proximity to the combative on-again, off-again couple.
As we reported last June, Ravenel is suing Dennis over custody and visitation matters related to their children – three-year-old daughter Kensington Calhoun Ravenel and one-year-old son St. Julien Rembert Ravenel (a.k.a. “Saint”).
Currently Ravenel has primary custody of both children, although sources close to Dennis tell us she is committed to “saving them” from her 54-year-old ex-boyfriend.
The mediation hearing in this case is scheduled to take place just two-and-a-half weeks after the season premiere of Southern Charm – the Charleston, S.C.-based reality television show that stars Ravenel and Dennis.
Dennis, 25, confirmed her ongoing participation in the Bravo TV show just last week – a boon to the show’s producers, who have relied on this toxic relationship to fuel the show’s rise in the ratings.
“Mark the date, sip thy tea, debuting will be the metamorphosis of me,” Dennis wrote of the upcoming season premiere on her ever-popular Instagram page.
Obviously we’ll keep an eye on the drama as it develops both on and off the screen …
