STOP THE PRESSES …
Rapper Kayne West requested – and received – an audience with U.S. president-elect Donald Trump this week.
The two chatted for fifteen minutes at Trump Tower early Tuesday, with the soon-to-be-leader of the free world accompanying West to the lobby – and embracing him upon his departure.
Trump previously accompanied only one other guest to the lobby – Japanese bank executive Masayoshi Son, whose company is reportedly investing $50 billion and creating 50,000 new jobs in the United States.
What did West and Trump discuss?
“Life, we discussed life,” Trump said.
“We’re just friends, just friends,” Trump added. “He’s a good man. Going well. Long time – we’ve been friends for a long time.”
West, 39, has been complimentary of Trump in the past – referring to the billionaire media mogul as a “genius.”
“If I would’ve voted, I would’ve voted Trump,” West said during a recent concert in the heart of Hillary Clinton country.
