MEDIA GATHER IN WASHINGTON D.C. TO CONGRATULATE THEMSELVES ON 2016 “COVERAGE …”
Whatever happens in America moving forward, 2016 will forever be remembered as the year objective journalism died. Seriously, whether you liked or disliked GOP presidential nominee (now president-elect) Donald Trump – there can be no denying his candidacy for the White House was subjected to harshly one-sided, overtly biased, overwhelmingly negative media coverage.
For months on end …
Oh, and before anyone plays the “Trump got tons of free advertising in the primary” card – don’t forget a lot of that “free advertising” was a well-organized corporate media attempt to destroy his candidacy.
Anyway, many of the mainstream media outlets that were roped in line behind failed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will gather in Washington, D.C. this week for “A Toast to the Political Press Corps.”
Believe it or not, we received an invitation to this event, which is intended to “salute the work of the 2016 political press corps and honor their tireless efforts in the 2016 election …”
Ha!
What a joke …
America’s mainstream media was “all in” for Clinton in 2016 – even before she got her party’s nomination.
They sacrificed their professional integrity and public responsibility to shamelessly advance an inherently corrupt politician pushing demonstrably failed policies.
And they thought they pulled it off, too …
Having failed, now they are attempting to incite widespread violence and destruction of property as a means of protesting the outcome of the election.
Does any of that deserve a “salute?”
